Elk Run Museum Open House

Fall 2024 date to be announced.
11 am – 2 pm.
Interpreter on-site.
The museum showcases an excavated segment of the
Elk Run Anglican Church building, built in the 1750’s.

Displays include:
• artifacts from the Manahoac tribe, which occupied the area before Virginia settlers
• panels showing the relationship of the nearby Germantown settlement with the church
• highlights of the Anglican Church in colonial Virginia
• panel on Chief Justice Marshall
• artifacts found during the archaeological dig
