The Preservation of the Elk Run Anglican Church Site
The Elk Run Church Site Video Documentary “Finding Our Foundation” was completed and shown for the first time on June 26, 2007, at the “Legacies and Promise: 400 Years of Anglican/Episcopal History” conference in Williamsburg, Virginia. The Video Documentary by Sarah Gulick and Professor Barry Erdeljon of Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, and presentations by Ed Dandar, Project Manager, and Archaeologist, Dr. John Eddins, were well received by the audience.
The documentary is now on YouTube so that students from Fauquier County and beyond can learn about this segment of history.
The Elk Run DVD Documentary was selected by Rick Pettigrew of the Archaeological Legacy Institute (www.archaeologychannel.org/
